What Is A Passionate Disciple Of Jesus?

A disciple of Jesus is someone who not only believes in God, but follows Him with their whole life. Our church is all about living this out in a passionate way. We want to be continually deepening our relationship with God, while helping others become disciples of Jesus too.

What does the name Mountainside mean?

Our name comes from a few places in the Bible that are centered around Jesus. The mountainside was where a group of people became followers of Jesus (Mark 3:13), it was where people learned about God (Matthew 5:1), it was where there was spiritual refreshment (Matthew 14:23), and it was where true community happened (John 6:3).

We want to be a church that is just like the mountainside in the Scriptures.

What happens at your church service?

Our church services are designed for people who have never been to church, and also for people who have gone to church their entire lives. Each service consists of live worship music and a message to encourage you to follow Jesus. We also have a full nursery program, children’s program, and a Jr. Youth program.

Who is welcome to attend one of your services?

Absolutely everyone is welcome to attend one of our church services! Regardless of what your church background is, we would love to have you come and visit. We believe every person’s story is important, and we’d love to meet you and hear yours.

What type of church is Mountainside?

Mountainside is a Christian church that is proud to be a part of the P.A.O.C. We are a group of churches located across Canada and have affiliations all across the world. We believe that Jesus is our foundation and in the authority of Scripture.

How do I start a relationship with God?

Anyone can have a relationship with God! It doesn’t happen when we do good deeds or attend church, but when we have faith in Jesus. You can start a relationship with God when you believe that Jesus died for you and rose again. You can ask Him right now to begin this journey, and He will hear and help you.
